Model School Week

So we had model school this past week and there was honestly a lot to tell about it. Model school is where we are paired up with another PC volunteer and we lesson plan and teach a 90 minute class everyday from Tuesday to Friday. We are teaching at a local middle school. The grade taught was 9th grade. The kids in this grade actually had a lot of English skills. I ended up teaching both 9 A and 9 B classes which all together was about 35 students. This added an extra challenge because that was too big of a class to have it in a normal classroom so we had it outside. This meant we could only use whiteboards and not the projector. I was going to have one partner but that fell through. I ended up partnering with the other person teaching grade 9 because he didn't have a partner as well.

Each day we have to create a lesson plan before teaching and it has to follow a specific schedule.
