Breakfast at the Hotel

Below is the breakfast I have been eating for the last week at the hotel in Surabaya. They have a lot of savory foods for breakfast and a good amount of pastries to choose from.

There are three things that I absolutely love about the breakfast at the hotel.

The first is the guava juice (pink in bottle). This was amazing! I definitely know it is not pure guava juice due to the color, but it has a lot less additives than juices in the U.S.

The next is the soup in the left corner. It is kind of like a chicken stock porridge. There os rice that is sticky and you add a soup to it. Then you can choose from a variety of toppings. On this day I decided to add; egg, chicken pieces, and bread pieces.

The last item is the Nutella here. It is very different from Nutella back home. It has more chocolate and is very rich. It is more thick than the Nutella back home and does not have as many oils added to it.
